Joab and Emily married in 1998.
Moved to China in 2007.
Have four kids - Miriam 10, Asa 7, Salome 3 and Silas 1.

We are thankful for a full life that includes raising kids in a global world. Joab works for an American technology company and Emily does a little bit of everything- including zooming around with kids on her electric bike in a city of 21 million people.

A sick girl

Our dear Salome is down with a horrible virus. The poor thing has never been sick or really had a fever. But something got her (and no one else) this week. We finally went to the Doctor and after blood work said it is indeed a very bad virus. Please pray that she will get feeling better and would eat! Right now she only wants to nurse (which is making me exhausted) and won't even drink water. Thanks friends

    Praying for Salome...and for you! Hang in there---Drew is up every 2 hours too wanting to nurse as he's getting his molars. I keep telling myself that he won't want to cuddle with me like this forever! XOXO, Molly
