Asa loves to create almost anything - including his own birthday cake. I don't know which he liked more - helping Emily make the cake or licking the batter!
One of Asa's birthday requests was to go to the Shanghai Zoo with his good friend Elijiah Bowman. Here are Elijiah and Asa under the green archway of an Elephant sculpture. The weather was gorgeous today - a rare blue sky day!
The coming arrival of the fourth Meyer means that Emily has consolidated the birthday celebrations. As a result, Asa and Miriam celebrated the birthdays together. Here they are enjoying their birthday treats with our good friends the Bowmans. What a joy to see them enjoying their own creations as Asa not only made his choclate cake, but Miriam made her cherry pie as well.
Happy Birthday, Asa! We are so thankful that seven years ago the Lord gave you to us! We love you!
